A simple, transparent website data policy.

1. About this policy

Edge64 Industrial Automation, trading as Edge64 ("Edge64", "we", "us" or "our"), operates the Edge64 and UnitFAT website.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the website, how we use and protect it, when it may be shared, and the choices and rights available to you.

For the purposes of applicable data-protection law, Edge64 Industrial Automation is responsible for the processing described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you may provide

A technical-demo request asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your work email address
  • Your company and role
  • Details about your PLC platform, process, FAT requirements, or engineering use case

An AI-editable SCADA early-access request may ask for:

  • Your name and work email address
  • Your primary area of interest
  • The SCADA engineering problem you would most want the proposed platform to solve
  • Optional comments about trust in AI-assisted production changes

Please do not submit confidential plant information, access credentials, safety-critical documentation, personal data relating to other individuals, or other sensitive information unless we have agreed on an appropriate method for receiving it.

Technical information

The systems used to host and secure the website may automatically process limited technical information, such as:

  • Internet Protocol address
  • Browser and device type
  • Date and time of access
  • Pages requested
  • Referring website
  • Security, diagnostic, and error logs

This information is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.

3. Online form submissions

When you submit the technical-demo or AI-editable SCADA early-access form, the details you enter are transmitted to Edge64 through Resend, our transactional email-delivery provider. The submission is delivered to an authorised Edge64 business mailbox, and your work email is used as the reply-to address.

Technical-demo submissions are used to assess and respond to your engineering enquiry. AI-editable SCADA early-access submissions are used only for product research, prototype reviews, and availability communications unless you separately agree to another use.

Resend delivers the notification email but is not a dedicated waitlist database. The current primary record is the notification retained in Edge64's business email system. Each notification includes the submission date, form source, and the communication scope shown when the form was submitted.

If an external scheduling service is introduced, selecting a booking link may take you to that provider's website. Information entered there will also be handled according to the provider's privacy policy.

4. How we use personal information

We use personal information where necessary to:

  • Respond to enquiries and technical-demo requests
  • Arrange engineering discussions and demonstrations
  • Understand your technical requirements and proposed use case
  • Manage AI-editable SCADA product research, prototype reviews, and early-access availability
  • Prepare proposals, pilot scopes, or other requested commercial information
  • Maintain appropriate records of business communications
  • Operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the website
  • Prevent misuse, fraud, or security incidents
  • Meet applicable legal and regulatory obligations

Technical-demo details are not used for unrelated marketing without separate agreement. AI-editable SCADA waitlist details, when collection is enabled, will be used only for product research, prototype reviews, and availability communications unless you separately agree to something else.

5. Legal grounds for processing

Depending on the law applicable to you, we process personal information:

  • With your consent
  • To take steps you request before entering into a contract
  • To pursue legitimate business interests, such as responding to business enquiries and securing our website
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing completed before consent was withdrawn.

6. Sharing personal information

We may share personal information with service providers that support our operations, such as:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Transactional and business email providers, including Resend
  • Scheduling and video-conferencing services
  • Security and technical-support providers
  • Professional advisers, including legal and accounting advisers

These organisations may process information only for the relevant service or as otherwise permitted by law.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights or system security, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of business assets.

Edge64 does not sell personal information.

7. International data transfers

Some service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you are located. Where applicable law requires it, we will use appropriate contractual, organisational, or legal safeguards for these transfers.

8. Data retention

Technical-demo, contact, and early-access enquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive interaction, unless you ask us to remove the information sooner and no legal or operational reason requires continued retention.

Information associated with an active customer, supplier, pilot, contract, dispute, or legal obligation may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary. Security and diagnostic logs may be retained for a shorter period appropriate to their operational purpose.

When personal information is no longer required, we will delete or anonymise it, subject to applicable legal and technical requirements.

9. Information security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should therefore avoid sending sensitive industrial or operational information through the general website contact form.

10. Cookies and analytics

The website does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural analytics.

Essential technical storage may be used where necessary to provide website functionality or security. If analytics, advertising technologies, or other non-essential cookies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those technologies are enabled.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information held about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Withdraw consent
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request a portable copy of eligible information
  • Complain to the relevant data-protection authority

These rights may be subject to legal limitations or exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

12. Children's privacy

The website and Edge64 UnitFAT services are intended for business and engineering professionals. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website.

13. Third-party websites

The website may contain links to external websites, including scheduling or professional-network services. Edge64 does not control those websites and is not responsible for their privacy practices. You should review the applicable privacy notice before providing information to an external service.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, contact systems, service providers, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate additional notice where required by law.
